Baaroquuue!

Three photos that explain the Baroque era:
First, Teresa by Bernini. The staue shows a good example of movement. As you can tell the angle is about to kill someone with an arrow.
Second, The Coronation with Thorns by Caravaggio. This is a good example of chiaroscuro because the light shining from the corner is shining right on Jesus.

Third, Judith Slaying Holofernes by Gentileschi. This shows a good example of emotional intensity because you can tell the man being killed was in very much pain.

Extended Weekend.

Over the past 4 days we were out of school, I loaded my schedule up with exciting things to do. Thursday I went over to Jared’s house and went sledding with him, Cody, Coleman, and Matt. “WWEEEE,” everyone screamed going down the steep hill. I chickened out and went back to the car because I couldn’t feel my feet. After three hours, they were FINALLY finished. We all went back to Jared’s house, where is was warm, and Haley came over. We just chilled until Coleman decided to take us home. Saturday I did nothing until like 10pm. I had Haley, Coleman, Hayley, Colton, Clay, and Justin come over for a bit. We listened to music, danced in the strobe light, and just had a good time.  You could say that music and dance had an impact on my long weekend because that’s all my friends and I ever do. bahahaha!

Duuuude, check this out!

-WhatIsAPrezi?
Prezi is a web-based presentation tool using a map layout and zooming to show contextual relationships which addresses some of the shortcomings of Microsoft PowerPoint.
-HowIsItDifferentFromAPowerPoint?
I think you should remember that these are very different tools, and they have different pros and cons. Prezi: during a presentation, it’s not going to be that different to powerpoint.
Powerpoint: probably more flexible, you can do a lot more with it.
It is probably fair to say that Prezi is better visually, while PowerPoint does a good job on written content, but you could create a visual PowerPoint and a texty Prezi.
-ThreeFactsForFirstTimeUsers...
1. Create your structure first, fill in the details afterwards.
2. Use PDFs, not JPEGs – and remember every image will fill the screen.
3. Make sure you are the dog, and Prezi is the tail!!!

Christams Break!!

Over Christmas break, I went to my father’s house. He lives in Arizona so I had to drive to Nashville, and then ride on a plane for 3 hours! I guess you could say that was the highlight of my break. NOOT! I came back 5 days before school started and did nothing but chill with friends, which in my opinion is the BABABABOMB DIGGITY. I was mostly at Haley, my best friend’s, house. We enjoyed the time we spent together because we were separated for 8 days!  FOREVER RIGHT! Uhh, that’s pretty much my Christmas break besides the numerous amount of times I went to the movies with my father and step-mother. BAHAHAHAHA!
